Gloves

Lightweight gloves combining road glove tactility with trail glove protection for cross-country and cyclocross racing. No other gloves provided our desired balance of finger dexterity, bar feel preservation, and protection against grasping brush and other trail hazards, so we made our own. The XC FF Gloves extend a light layer of breathable coverage the length of the fingers while subtle padding on the palm and thumb maps how we weight the bar or hoods. Our 3D curved structure provides an anatomic fit to reduce bunching and keep bar feel on-point. Printed on the index and middle fingers to boost grip on the brake lever while you're bouncing across roots or course obstacles that, in retrospect, you should've shouldered the bike for.

Articulation and comfortable protection take center stage, made possible with five different textiles, 10 panels, and three components. In other words, there’s nothing standard about the RS Aero SF Gloves. The streamlined “no wrinkle” silhouette has been cut to form a curved 3D shape, mimicking the intricate anatomical structure of the human hand as it grips the bars. At the back of the hands Assos applied their Breezer Tex, an ultralight woven fabric with mesh-like structure, which promotes breathability and delivers an ultrasoft feel. Strategically positioned triangulated pads on the palm—wrapped in perforated synthetic leather—deliver light support and protection, without blocking necessary feedback from the bar. The resulting gloves create a superlight layer, free of bulky fasteners and fabrics, for a smooth low-volume wrap across the hands.
